An email newsletter is a wonderful way to stay in touch with current, future and past clients. Your eNewsletter is a wonderful place to share your recent accomplishments, feature 1-3 properties, all while providing clients with tips and advice on topics such as buying real estate and moving to a new home.
Some Realtors will opt for a weekly eNewsletter, while others opt to send out an update every other week or monthly basis.
Your eNewsletter will enable you to remain on your clients’ radar, which results in more referrals and a higher chance of seeing a new client or a returning client.
In addition to eNewsletters, Realtors can also benefit from email drip campaigns which are comprised of a series of emails which are sent to new clients on a pre-determined schedule, providing them with tips and insight on the buying or selling process.
Communicating With Clients via Social Media
Social media is key to connecting with not only your current clients, but also your past clients and prospective clients whom you may work with in the future.
Similar to email newsletters, your social media presence provides you with a way to “stay on the radar” with your clients. But social media provides you with some added benefits, such as added exposure since any posts that your clients share will be visible to all of their followers too. Even a casual encounter with your social media posts can ultimately result in a new client because people are several times more likely to choose that which is familiar.
On Facebook, simply send a friend request to clients. It’s also advisable to create a Facebook page for your business (or for yourself as a professional.) This can serve as the hub for all of your real estate-related social media postings.
It’s also wise to follow your clients on Twitter and encourage them to follow you as well.
Communicating With Clients via Snail Mail
Snail mail doesn’t see the volume of marketing materials that were present just a decade ago, as most advertisers have focused their marketing campaigns online. But this has subsequently left the snail mail marketing sector relatively vacant, which means recipients are far more likely to actually read whatever you send.
Many Realtors can benefit from sending out a periodic mailing, such as a postcard (created with all of your branding elements), with your contact information and information on your service offerings.
